Due to circum-
stances beyond our
control, Make the
Call 2009 has been
cancelled this year.
Held on the campus of Stephen F.
Austin State University, Make the Call
gives officials the opportunity to
participate in the spring drills of the
SFA Lumberjack football team.
Clinic attendees will be able to:
- Work and/or observe fellow officials
during a live SFA football scrimmage
followed by an in-depth mechanics
discussion and film review in
breakout session by position.
- Visit with fellow officials from Texas
and other states.
- Improve your mechanics by visiting
with collegiate and NFL officials
- Get a preview of the 2009 rule
changes
PLEASE NOTE: Crews will be
randomly picked from the list of
fully paid crews on April 4.
On the field crews will be notified
by phone. On the field crews
must be in full uniform.
The Lumberjacks will scrimmage
approximately 100 plays. We plan to
work 12 crews 8-9 plays each.
Experienced officials and conference
supervisors observe the crews and
then during the Saturday morning
sessions offer suggestions and
encouragement duriing the game fim
viewing.
